134 more people identified as infected in Chandpur.In Chandpur, corona of 134 out of 336 samples was identified. The detection rate is 34.57%.
According to the Civil Surgeon’s Office, the new victims include 35 from Chandpur Sadar Upazila, 19 from Matlab South, 12 from Hajiganj, 22 from Faridganj, 2 from Haimchar, 32 from Shahrashti, 3 from Matlab North and 9 from Kachua.
On the same day, 53 people were declared healthy. Of these, 41 are from Chandpur Sadar, 4 from Matlab Uttar, 7 from Faridganj and 1 from Hajiganj.
Sources further said that the number of people infected with corona in the district has increased to 7012 including the new ones. The death toll has risen to 143. So far 5433 people have been declared healthy. At present 1436 people are undergoing treatment. Among the injured, 41 are undergoing treatment in the isolation ward of the hospital. The rest are in home isolation.
