14 People Died In Coronavirus

In the last 24 hours, 14 people have died of coronavirus. Among the dead were 10 men and four women. A total of 228 people died in Corona. At the same time, 887 more people have been identified as infected with the virus. The number of victims has increased to 14 thousand and 657.

This information was given by the Additional Director General (Administration) of the Department, Prof. Dr. Nasima Sultana in the regular Health Bulletin on Coronavirus of the Department of Health on Sunday (May 10) at noon.

She said samples from 36 laboratories were tested and another 5,642 samples were collected in the last 24 hours to detect coronavirus. Five thousand and 738 samples were tested by combining some of the previous ones. A total of one lakh 22 thousand and 657 samples were tested in the country. Coronavirus has been detected in the bodies of 887 more people in the new sample test. This is the highest identification record in 24 hours. A total of 14,657 people have been affected in the country. Another 14 people died among the victims. As a result, the death toll stood at 228. And in the last 24 hours, 236 more people have recovered. In all, 2,650 people returned home healthy.

The bulletin urges everyone to follow the guidelines of the Department of Health and the World Health Organization to avoid the risk of coronavirus infection.

Although it was first identified in Wuhan, China, last December, the whole world is now infected with the coronavirus. Other regions of the world including Europe-America-Asia are suffering severely. The number of people infected with this virus has exceeded 4.1 million worldwide. The death toll is more than two lakh and 80 thousand. However, about 14 lakh patients have already recovered.
