21 people Death in last 24 hours : Identified 1,166.In the last 24 hours, 21 more people have died in the country due to the epidemic coronavirus (Covid-19). As a result, a total of 522 people died from the virus. In the last 24 hours, another 1,166 people have been identified as infected with the virus. As a result, the number of people affected by Corona stood at 36,751.

This information was given in the regular health bulletin on coronavirus of the health department on Tuesday (May 26) at noon. Additional Director General of the Department (in charge of the Director General) Professor Dr. Nasima Sultana presented the bulletin.

According to the bulletin, 4,416 samples were collected in the last 24 hours on Eid day to detect coronavirus. A total of 5,407 samples were tested. A total of two lakh and 58 thousand 411 samples were tested in the country. Corona has been identified in the bodies of another 1,116 people in the new sample test. Compared to the sample test, the detection rate is 21.56 percent. A total of 36,751 people have been affected in the country. Another 21 people died among the victims. As a result, the death toll stood at 522 people. Another 245 people have recovered in the last 24 hours. The number of patients who recovered with this stood at seven thousand and 579 people.

Of those newly killed, 14 were men and seven were women. Among them 15 are from Dhaka division, four from Chittagong division and two from Barisal division. 20 died at the hospital and one died at home. There is one in the age group of 1 to 10 years, one in the age group of 11 to 20 years, two in the thirties, five in the forties, seven in the fifties, three in the sixties, one in the seventies and one in the age group of 61 to 90 years.

The bulletin on Tuesday highlighted isolation and quarantine, saying 182 more people had been isolated in the last 24 hours and 4,770 were currently in isolation. In the last 24 hours, 65 people have been exempted from isolation and so far 2,323 people have been exempted.

There are 13,284 isolation beds across the country. Of these, 7,250 are in the capital Dhaka and 6,034 are outside Dhaka. There are 399 ICU beds and 106 dialysis units in the country.

In the last 24 hours, 2,452 people have been quarantined at home and institutionally. So far two lakh and 68 thousand 315 people have been taken in quarantine. In the last 24 hours, 1,868 people have been exempted from quarantine. So far, a total of two lakh and 12 thousand 326 people have received discounts. At present, there are 55,989 people in quarantine, both home and institutional.

There are 626 institutions ready for institutional quarantine at different district and upazila levels of the country. 31,840 people can be served immediately through these organizations.

The bulletin urges everyone to follow the guidelines of the Department of Health and the World Health Organization to avoid the risk of coronavirus infection.
