In Comilla, 4 people including one from Shahrashti died due to Corona symptom.Four people, including an eight-year-old girl, died at the Cumilla Covid-19 Hospital in Corona on Tuesday morning. Among the dead were two from Cumilla City Corporation, one from Adarsh Sadar Upazila of Cumilla and one from Shahrashti Upazila of Chandpur.
Mukta Rani Bhuiyan, assistant surgeon of the information branch of the hospital, confirmed the matter.
According to hospital sources, a 60-year-old woman from Kotbari area of Comilla City Corporation died at 6:05 pm on Monday. He was admitted on June 24 with fever, cold and shortness of breath. A man died in Adarsh Sadar upazila of Cumilla at 9:00 pm after being admitted to hospital yesterday.
An eight-year-old girl from Cumilla City Corporation died at 11:00 pm yesterday. He was admitted to the hospital on June 23. A 65-year-old woman from Shahrashti upazila of Chandpur was admitted on June 27. He died at 4:15 am on Tuesday.
The director of the hospital said. Mujibur Rahman said that at present 113 patients are admitted in covid Hospital. Of these, 41 are corona positive and 72 are symptomatic. Today 33 people have been newly admitted.
750 people have been admitted to the hospital since June 03. Of these, 493 have returned home after recovering from the service. So far 143 people have died. Of these, 25 died in Corona and 118 with symptoms.
