This information was given in the regular health bulletin of the Department of Health regarding coronavirus on Saturday afternoon, June 13. Additional Director General of the Department, Prof. Nasima Sultana presented the bulletin.
A total of 14,035 samples were collected in the last 24 hours to detect coronavirus, she said. A total of 16,638 samples were tested. A total of four lakh 89 thousand and 960 samples were tested in the country. Corona infection has been detected in the new sample test in 2,856 more people. As a result, the number of people infected with the virus stood at 84,379. Another 44 people died among the victims. The total number of deaths was one thousand and 139 people. 578 people recovered in 24 hours. As a result, a total of 17,828 people returned home healthy.
According to the bulletin on Friday, June 12, 46 people have died in the last 24 hours due to corona, the highest death record in a single day. Corona infection was detected in 15,990 samples from another 3,471 people, the highest number of detection records in a single day. As a result, the number of deaths and patient identification has decreased in the last 24 hours compared to the previous 24 hours.
