Outbreak is on the rise in Chandpur: Corona of 7 more people identified.The incidence of corona is increasing in Chandpur district. The corona of 7 more people has been identified anew. On Sunday 21st November, 79 reports came from MA Wadud RT-PCR Lab of Chandpur-based Bahashabi. 6 of them are corona positive. The remaining 72 corona are negative. At present there are 5 isolated patients in the district.
Among them 3 are from Chandpur Sadar Upazila, 2 from Faridganj, 1 from Kachua and 1 from Shahrasti. On the same day, 6 people were declared tax free and healthy. Among them 4 are from Chandpur Sadar upazila, 1 from Matlab South and 1 from Hajiganj.
With this, the number of people affected by corona in the district has increased to 2515 people. The death toll is 79. 2367 people have recovered. At present 69 people are undergoing treatment.

The upazila-wise statistics of 79 deaths in Corona district are as follows: 22 in Chandpur Sadar, 17 in Hajiganj, 12 in Faridganj, 10 in Matlab North, 7 in Shahrasti, 6 in Kachua, 4 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.
