14 more people has been identified in Chandpur. 3 of them died. Chandpur Zilla Parishad member Khodeja Rahman is also among the newly deceased in Corona. Two others died of symptoms in Kachua.
With this, the number of people affected by corona in the district has increased to 111 people. The death toll is 11.Total 21 people have recovered. 80 people are under treatment. Chandpur Civil Surgeon’s Office sources said this on Friday afternoon.
Meanwhile, coronana report of 3 members of the same family in Faridganj upazila has come positive.
Sources at the Upazila Health Complex said that out of the four reports received at the Faridganj Upazila Health Complex on Friday, May 22 at noon, the report of three members of the same family from Charpata village in Dakshin Union No. 14 of the upazila came back as positive.
Among them, the staff of Haimchar Upazila Health Complex tested positive on May 17. Following this, samples of his wife (40), daughter (23) and son (20) and Dulal’s grandson (2) were collected and sent to IEDC. The corona of three of them came positive and the report of the grandson came negative.
Faridganj Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer. Ashraf Ahmed Chowdhury told Chandpur Times that reports of 4 people came to Faridganj on Friday. The corona of three of them is positive. He said so far a total of 113 samples have been sent to Faridganj upazila for testing. Of these, 77 reports have come and 36 are waiting.
