In Chandpur, 109 families are getting gifts from the PM tomorrow

In Chandpur, 109 families are getting gifts from the Prime Minister tomorrow. On the occasion of Mujib Year, 109 families from 6 out of 8 upazilas of Chandpur district will be given houses as soon as the Prime Minister inaugurates the country-wide video conference tomorrow morning as a gift from the Prime Minister.

In this regard, it has been informed that all preparations have been completed for the program on the morning of June 20. Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anjana Khan Majlish said this at an exchange of views and press conference at Chandpur Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Room on Friday morning.

A video conference of the Prime Minister will be held at Chandpur Sadar Upazila Complex Bhaban on Sunday, June 20 to enjoy the inaugural program. Deputy Commissioner of District Administration Anjana Khan Majlish, District Council Chairman Alhaj Ochman Gani Patwari, Superintendent of Police Md. Milon Mahmud, District Awami League President Nasir Uddin Ahmed, General Secretary Bir Muktijoddha Abu Naeem Patwary Dulal.

Also present will be Upazila Chairman Nurul Islam Nazim Dewan, Sadar Executive Officer Sanjida Shahnaz, Municipality Mayor Adv. Zillur Rahman Jewel and concerned District Awami League, Sadar, Municipal and concerned UP Chairman, Secretaries and beneficiaries.

Meanwhile, in other upazilas of Chandpur, self-appointed Upazila Chairman and other members, Upazila Nirbahi Officer and all other officers and self-appointed UP Chairman and beneficiaries will be present at the Upazila Parishad building.

According to the district administration, in the second phase, there will be 17 houses in Sadar upazila, 2 in Kachua upazila, 30 in Matlab Uttar upazila, 10 in Hajiganj upazila, 30 in Shahrashti upazila and 20 in Haimchar upazila.

Earlier, 115 families were provided houses in the first phase in Chandpur district. Of these, 40 are in Sadar upazila, 15 in Kachua upazila, 5 in Matlab North upazila, 5 in Hajiganj upazila, 5 in Shahrasti upazila, 25 in Matlab Dakshin upazila and 20 in Haimchar upazila.
