PM expressed deep grief over death of Abdul Hannan Khan

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed deep grief over the death of Abdul Hannan Khan, chief coordinator of the International Criminal Tribunal.

In a condolence message on Sunday, the Prime Minister recalled the dedication and efficiency of Abdul Hannan Khan as the Chief Coordinator in the investigation of the murder and jail murder case of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said Abdul Hannan Khan has also served with integrity and courage as the chief coordinator of the International Criminal Tribunal.

The Prime Minister prayed for the forgiveness of the soul of the deceased and conveyed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family members.

Abdul Hannan Khan, chief coordinator of the International Criminal Tribunal and a heroic freedom fighter, died at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka at around 12.45pm today. His colleagues said he was suffering from corona.

Prosecutor Ziad Al Malum of the International Criminal Tribunal  told Abdul Hannan Khan was admitted to CMH after suffering a heart attack. When his corona was examined there, a positive report came. He died there this afternoon.
