31 senior assistant secretary rank officers have been appointed as additional district administrators. A notification has been issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Monday, December 8, night, appointing them.
The notification said that the officers transferred as additional district administrators have been given the powers of additional district magistrates to perform their duties as executive magistrates in their respective jurisdictions as per the provisions of Section 10(2) of ‘The Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898’.
The appointed officers will join the transferred workplace by December 11 today. Otherwise, they will be considered as stand release from the current workplace (training/workplace) on the afternoon of December 11, the notification said.
If the office or workplace of the transferred officer has already changed, he will submit a joining letter mentioning the name and address of the working office, the notification of the Ministry of Public Administration said.
