Agreement to operate direct flights from Bangladesh to United States

Signed an agreement to operate direct flights from Bangladesh to United States.The aviation agreement has been officially signed between the governments of Bangladesh and the United States.The agreement was signed on Wednesday morning.

As a result of this agreement, there were no more obstacles to air travel between the two countries.

Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism Tanvir Ahmed confirmed the matter. He said the details will be given later.

Aviation experts were already expecting to resume flights on the closed Dhaka-New York route. They were saying that there is a possibility of resuming this route only if some technical problems can be solved.

Air Marshal (retd) Mohammad Enamul Bari, chairman of Biman Bangladesh Airlines’ board of directors, said after the Dreamliner’s’ Akash Beena ‘landed at Shahjalal Airport for the first time, the new generation aircraft would bring about an overall change in Biman. The quality of service will increase.

“As soon as Shahjalal’s category changes as part of a fair trade plan, we will first launch services on the Toronto and New York routes,” he added.
