Surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful

Surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. With the rising of the moon in the month of Ramadan, there is a glimmer of hope around the world in the hope of cheapness. The hearts of all Muslims in the world have been enlightened. Corona curse will be to bid farewell to the month of Ramadan, which begins with the message of mercy, forgiveness and salvation of the people of the world.

In the second year of the history of Islam, fasting was made obligatory in the month of Ramadan. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon) observed nine Ramadaan fasts in his life. This is because the fast of Ramadan was made obligatory in the month of Sha’ban in the second Hijri, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon ) died in the month of Rabi ‘al-Awwal in the eleventh year of the Hijri.

It is noteworthy here that in the nearly 1400-year history of the advent of Islam, such an unimaginable month of Ramadan as 2020 has never come. Due to the onslaught of the global pandemic coronavirus, based on the combined opinion of religious scholars and health experts, conscious people are keeping a social distance at home and avoiding all kinds of crowds and gatherings. As a result, access to the mosque has been restricted. Tarabi prayers, one of the special features of Ramadan, have also been instructed to be performed at home.

This has increased the responsibility of every Muslim man and woman to carry out all the duties of Ramadan at home with their family members at their own risk. In order to get rid of the curse of Corona, Allah has given endless opportunity to make the houses alive and vibrant through deeds. This great opportunity to train oneself and one’s family members through fasting, prayers, recitation of the Qur’an, dhikr, azkar should be used. It is prudent to use this great opportunity to achieve success in the hereafter for oneself and one’s family through gaining mercy, blessings and salvation.

At the same time, for the welfare of oneself and others in the society, one should also keep in mind the importance of giving alms as per the prayers and instructions of the situation. In any case, a successful, fruitful, beneficial and timely Ramadan is a special aspiration for every Muslim man and woman. Therefore, may the month of Ramadan be fully utilized in and may the light of mercy, blessings and salvation shine in the lives of all.
