One arrested with yaba in Faridganj. In a special operation of Faridganj police, the accused in three cases including drugs were arrested along with 20 pieces of yaba.
On Tuesday night, April 27, under the direction of Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Shahid Hossain, SI Mohammad Anwar Hossain along with allied forces conducted a special operation in Ubarampur area of Subidpur Union No. 3 and arrested Mohammad AH Salam, son of late Kalu Bepari of Hajiganj Police Station of the same district with 20 pieces of yaba.
Faridganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge Shahid Hossain said there are three cases against drug dealer Mohammad AH Salam in Hajiganj Police Station. Salam, a drug dealer, has been sent to court after filing a case under the Narcotics Act.
He added that the police is working to make the upazila drug-free.
