In various diagnostic and doctor chambers brokers has increased in various hospitals and diagnostic chambers of Chandpur city. This is causing the suffering of ordinary patients from far and wide. A broker was arrested on Thursday from Mission Road area of Chandpur at around 11 pm.
Sufi Khairul Alam Khokon, the general secretary of the district community police, said that various brokers employed at hospitals and diagnostic centers in Chandpur are working on a regular rickshaw. They take patients from one place to another. Due to this, the general patients are suffering. We are always working on behalf of the community police to eradicate drugs, terrorism.
He also said , ‘On Thursday morning I received a call from Someone. I immediately went to the scene and arrested one. But the other two escapedfrom that spot. From there, five rickshaws including Omar Farooq were seized.
The victim said, “I went to Doctos chamber with the canal.” Seeing us there, rickshaw broker Omar Farooq forcibly wants to take other place. When we expressed our reluctance, his colleagues, including Omar Farooq were beaten us. At one point, I notified the general secretary of the district community police over the mobile phone. He arrived at the scene and seized three rickshaws, including broker Omar Farooq.
Deputy Inspector of Chandpur Model Police Station SI Palash Barua said, “We arrested a broker with the help of the secretary of the community police and brought them to the police station. We will take legal action regarding the brokers.
