However, even though the working people are out, they are seeing the impression of panic in their eyes.

However, the presence of shoppers has increased in the presence of hats and markets as consciously unscrupulous businessmen raise the prices of essential commodities. Particularly among the families of the expatriates, a competition has been started to buy extra bazaars and store them at home. Besides, many of those who were living in Chandpur city had started leaving the city in fear of the announcement of the closure of schools and colleges.

On the other hand, Chandpur district administration has issued a warning to ban mass transit in the district to prevent the transmission of Corona virus. Tourist areas are banned from entering the city’s tourist areas. In addition to extensive preparations, the district administration has issued leaflets to alert the corona virus in the city. At this time, the district administration has advised against ‘coroner’ not ‘panic’ about the corona virus.

Chandpur Deputy Commissioner said while distributing public awareness leaflets in the city bus station on Wednesday afternoon. Rahman Khan urged all to be on high alert not to be intimidated by the Corona virus. He also advised to close any meetings, rallies and public meetings. He mentioned various precautions including washing hands after coming out. He also urged the district administration to inform him if anyone returned from abroad.

According to Chandpur district administration sources, all preparations have been made to prevent corona, forming a committee at the upazila level, emergency medical team, medical team at the union level, monitoring cell formation, and the preparation of 7-8 bed isolation ward in each upazila.

According to the data provided by Chandpur District Health Department, “till Wednesday, there are 167 people total home quarantines in the district. However, no coronary virus has been identified in the district so far. The district health department has prepared a 100 bed isolation ward at the Chandpur district headquarters and upazila level.

In addition, several educational institutions and residential hotels have been set up in each upazila.
