Postal vote registration from Bangladesh exceeds 10,000

The Election Commission (EC) has provided postal voting for the first time in the upcoming 13th National Parliament election. Under this system, voters engaged in electoral duties, government employees working outside their own areas and voters in legal custody will be able to vote.

10,566 people have registered to vote by postal vote till 11:30 am on Sunday, December 14. This information has been revealed from the Election Commission’s postal voting website.

Registration has started from Thursday, December 11 through the ‘Postal Vote BD’ app. This registration is till December 25.

Meanwhile, for the first time, expatriates are also registering to vote by postal vote on the ‘Postal Vote BD’ app. According to the latest information, 3 lakh 70 thousand 820 expatriates have completed their registration for postal voting.
