In Saudi Bangladeshi Biman fined Tk. 1 crore.According to the Saudi Arabian government’s hygiene rules, every aircraft must be sprayed with disinfectant. State flag carrier Biman Bangladesh Airlines has been fined around Tk.1 crore and 2 lacs for disobeying the rules.

Biman broke the hygiene rules of a flight in Bangladesh and landed at the country’s airport. According to Biman Bangladesh Airlines and the Saudi Biman office confirmed the News. However, the date of the flight was not mentioned.

According to Biman, the country’s government has imposed a fine of 450,000 Saudi riyal, which is equivalent to about Tk.1 crore and 2 lacs Bangladeshi. Attempts have been made to contact Biman Bangladesh Airlines Managing Director (MD) and CEO Mokabbir Hossain several times to find out the cause of the huge losses incurred by the government-funded Biman, but no response has been received.

Biman has formed a committee to find the culprits even though no one has opened their mouths in this regard. Ziauddin Ahmed, director of Biman’s administration, formed the three-member committee.

Biman Manager Ground Services (Airport Services) in the committee Golam Sarwar convener, assistant manager of the security department Mashudul Hasan has been made Member Secretary and Pranab Kumar Barua, Deputy Manager, Finance, Shahjalal International Airport has been made a member.

The committee has been asked to submit a report by July 30. It has been asked to identify the responsible persons and make recommendations so that such incidents do not happen in future.
