Education Minister said, ‘Barriers to increase women’s progress must be removed’
Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni has said that the present government is working in every field for the development of women. Because of this, women are now able to work independently in all professions. In order to consolidate women’s progress and increase its speed, the obstacles must be overcome.

She said this while addressing the inaugural function of ‘Enthusiastic Women SME Mela’ at the Shaheed Minar in the city center on Friday afternoon.

She said the government has given money to women entrepreneurs by specifying to banks. But the opportunity to take this money but in many cases many women do not get entrepreneur. She urged all concerned to take forward the women movement.

Chairman of PKSF and eminent economist of the country spoke further chaired by Chandpur Chamber of Commerce President Jahangir Akhan Selim. Kazi Khalikuzzaman Ahmed, Md. Nurul Amin, Secretary, Planning Department and Planning Ministry, and Deputy Commissioner of the Chandpur Abdullah Al Mahmud Zaman.

The fair, organized by the joint venture of Chandpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Oprah International, will run till February 14. The fair has received 25 stalls.

The fair will have a huge synergy for women entrepreneurs in various districts of the country including Chandpur. Energetic women will display and sell these products.

There will also be a one-day seminar at the 8-day fair. It will be attended by patriotic people. There will be cultural events every day. The fair will run from 10 am to 10 pm.
