BCB director Mahbub Anam infected by Corona

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) director Mahbub Anam has been infected by Corona. The senior cricket organizer contracted corona at home a couple of days ago. and tested corona for those symptoms.

On Sunday, November 15, it was revealed that he was not positive. Mahbub Anam took part in a day-long BCB function on November 12.

He managed the players’ draft of Bangabandhu T20 Cup that day. Many more directors of BCB were present on that occasion. The directors who came in contact with Mahbub on the show are now suffering from anxiety.

Jalal Yunus, chairman of the BCB’s media committee told, “I was sitting on the left side of Mahbub and Ismail Haider Mallick on the right side of the player draft. We are now a little more cautious after receiving the news of Mahbub’s corona attack. I am in isolation.

But so far we have not seen any signs or symptoms of corona disease.”

Jalal Yunus said- ‘Mahbub Anam is at home now. He is undergoing treatment there. BCB president Nazmul Hasan Papon is investigating. The BCB president has requested everyone to abide by the corona rules.

Mahbub Anam used to visit his office regularly before taking part in the BCB player draft. It has been reported that 17 to 18 officers and employees of his office have been infected. Mahbub Anam was also attacked from there.

Test captain Mominul Haque, T20 captain Mahmudullah Riyadh and former BCB selector Habibul Bashar Sumon are also being treated at home for corona disease.

A few more Bangladeshi cricketers were also infected at the start of the coronavirus outbreak. They have all recovered with proper treatment.
