Exhibition of BNS ADOMYA at Chandpur on Armed Forces Day

On the occasion of Armed Forces Day, the BNS ADOMYA of the Navy has been opened in Chandpur for the mass people. The exhibition is being held at the old launch terminal on Sunday, November 21 from 2 pm to 4 pm.

The matter has been confirmed by the commanding officer of the warship, Lieutenant Commander Mujahidur Rahman Sufi. The BNS ADOMYA of Bangladesh Navy has been opened to the public on Sunday from 2 pm to 4 pm.

According to Navy sources, the BNS ADOMYA came to Chandpur from Chattogram on November 19. On Monday, November 22, the warship is expected to leave Chandpur for its previous destination.

It is also known that the length of the BNS ADOMYA is 50 meters and the width is 7.50 meters. The speed of this ship is 21 nautical miles per hour. The ship has two 37 mm medium ships and anti-aircraft artillery and two 20 mm anti-aircraft artillery. The ship has 50 sailors and 3 officers. It has several weapons including sub-missile guns, anti-aircraft guns.

It is seen a significant number of visitors flock to see the BNS ADOMYA warship at Chandpur. At this time the ship was decorated with colorful ornaments.

Several visitors, including Rakibul Hasan, Abdur Rahman, and Monir Hossain, said, “We have learned a lot from seeing the warship. By exhibiting like this a few times a year, our children will also learn a lot and will be motivated to join the armed forces.”
