7 more people died in isolation ward in Chandpur. 7 more people died in the corona isolation ward of Chandpur Government General (Sadar) Hospital. The deaths occurred on Wednesday and Tuesday. Of these, 4 were suffering from corona and 3 were suffering from corona symptoms. Sadar Hospital Corona Focal Person Dr. Sujauddaula Rubel said this on Wednesday night.
He said Mohammad Shahjahan Khan, 65, of Mirzapur village in Baburhat area of Chandpur Sadar upazila was admitted to Sadar Hospital on July 25 at 8.30 am. He died at around 11:30 on Wednesday. He was infected with corona.
Ishaq Sarkar, 48, of Narayanpur area of Matlab Dakshin Upazila died at the Corona Isolation Ward of Sadar Hospital around 11am on Wednesday. He was admitted around 12:30 pm on Tuesday.
Abul Bashar, 55, of Hasadi village in Munsirhat area of the same upazila died at Chandpur Sadar Hospital around 6:30 pm on Wednesday. He was admitted to the hospital at 3.50 pm on the same day.
Monowara, 60, of Korua area of Kachua upazila, died at around 7:30 pm on Wednesday. He was admitted to the hospital around 2.30 pm on the same day.
Meanwhile, Nizam, 55, of West Harnidurgapur village in Faridganj’s Kalirbazar area, died at Sadar Hospital around 6pm on Tuesday. He was admitted to the hospital at 3.20 pm that day. He was suffering from corona symptoms. His samples were not collected.
Amena Begum (65) of Bishnudi area of Chandpur died at Sadar Hospital around 12:20 pm on Wednesday. He was admitted around 3:40 pm on Tuesday. He was also suffering from corona symptoms. However, his sample was not collected.
Besides, Ruhul Amin (55) of Paschim Nauri area of Matlab Uttar Upazila died at Chandpur Sadar Hospital around 10:30 pm on Tuesday. He was admitted to Sadar Hospital at around 8.40 pm on the same day.
