Chandpur and Comilla Road Department two proposal worth tk. 796 crore.Chandpur and Comilla Road Division have already submitted two project proposal with the concerned authorities of the Road Division.The estimated cost has been fixed at tk. 796 crore. It is proposed to spend tk. 315 crore for 10 kilometer on Comilla part.
According to the data obtained,the widening and strengthening of the Meghna-Dhanagoda enclosure road in the north of Matlab in Chandpur district is 0 to 38 km.
A proposal has been submitted for the development of the road.The expenditure has been fixed at tk. 143,80,00,000.
For the development of quality and widening of the Daudkandi-Goalmari-Sriraichar (Matlab-Chengarchar) road, 10-kilometer road construction has been proposed in the Chandpur section and 10 km. road in Comilla section. The expenditure has been fixed at tk. 652,18,00,000.
About half of the estimated expenditure will be spent on Comilla and the other half will be spent on land acquisition, including construction of a 10 km. road and a bridge in Chandpur, sources said.
