Chandpur district administration collected 7 and a half thousand taka fine in 8 operation.The district administration and the upazila administration are working relentlessly to ensure the implementation of the guidelines announced by the government to prevent corona infection in Chandpur and maintain social distance. The campaign continues every day.
According to the information received from the GM branch of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, in the last 24 hours in Chandpur district town and various upazilas, executive officers, AC land and executive magistrates in all upazilas of the district conducted mobile courts.
A total of Tk. 7,800 has been recovered from various persons and vehicles in 8 cases during the operation.
According to the Chandpur Deputy Commissioner’s Office, a fine of Tk. 5,000 was imposed in one case for leaving home unnecessarily, holding public gatherings, not maintaining a safe distance and protection of consumer rights and Tk. 2,800 in 7 cases under the Penal Code.
The Upazila Nirbahi Officer and the Executive Magistrate at the District Headquarters conducted these operations in two shifts from 10 a.m. to noon. It is learned that the campaign will continue to prevent the spread of corona virus (Covid-19).
