In 2005, there were 5,000 CNG licenses in Chandpur. At present it has been 6,601. However, according to the intelligence report, twice as many illegal CNGs are operating in Chandpur.

If anyone is being tortured by any member of Chandpur District Police, you inform us. We will take action. We have not been able to enforce any law in the last 6 months. We do not want oppression. We want peace.

In an open discussion, the owners and drivers said that there is no permanent strand in Chandpur district. Which is in other districts. And because we do not have this strand, we had to victim of various tortures. We do not buy CNG illegally, we buy CNG from dealers.

However, we are not able to getting license. If we buy CNG illegally, we get a profit of 1 to 1.5 lakh taka. So what is the benefit of buying CNG from dealer.

The intention is to be the victim of some harassment on the bridge. I seek the cooperation of the administration in this regard.

We request the government to arrange for the licensing of our unlicensed CNG.
