Grameen Bank’s 66th Zonal-Zonal Audit Officer Conference concluded

The 66th Zonal Manager and Zonal Audit Officer Conference-2025 of Grameen Bank was held with the theme ‘Economic liberation of the poor is our commitment’. The two-day conference began on November 13 at the auditorium of the bank’s head office.

The conference was attended by the bank’s Director Nazneen Sultana, Managing Director Sardar Akhter Hamid, Deputy Managing Directors Syed Matiyor Rahman and AKM Sajjad Hossain and executives of the head office. In addition, zonal managers and zonal audit officers of 40 zones across the country participated in it.

In the roundtable discussion at the conference, necessary guidelines were given regarding the various activities, implementation and budget of all the zones and audit offices of Grameen Bank across the country. At that time, Grameen Bank Director Nazneen Sultana said, “This bank owned by the rural members needs to be further expanded by incorporating new plans.”

Managing Director Sardar Akhter Hamid said, “We will provide suggestions and opinions on the activities and progress of each zone in mutual discussions. With the united efforts of everyone, Grameen Bank will be established at unique heights in the future, leaving behind all obstacles.” Through this, we will be able to give more than 30% dividend in the future.

Deputy Managing Director (Human Resources and Service Management) Syed Matiyor Rahman said, “We have to work towards poverty alleviation by providing the highest level of service to the borrower members in the light of sincerity, practical steps and monitoring.”

Deputy Managing Director (Branch Management-Monitoring) AKM Sajjad Hossain said, “Along with developing our own technical skills, we have to move forward with the goal of adopting and implementing various plans to reach the customer level.” – Press Release
