The number of corona cases in the district has increased to 2346.Two corona-positive out of 38 new sample tests came positive in Chandpur on Thursday. In other words, the corona of 2 new people has been identified. Among them 1 is from Chandpur Sadar and 1 from Hajiganj.
On the same day, 4 people were declared free and healthy from Corona. Among them 1 person from Chandpur Sadar, 1 person from Matlab North, 1 person from Hajiganj and 1 person from Shahrasti.
With this, the number of people affected by corona in the district stood at 2346 and remained unchanged. The death toll is 78. 2188 people have recovered. At present 80 people are undergoing treatment. This information has been informed by the Civil Surgeon’s Office.
According to sources, a total of 38 reports came from MA Wadud RT-PCR lab of Chandpur.
Of these, 2 are not positive. The remaining 36 reports are negative.
At present, the upazila-wise statistics of 2346 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 944 in Chandpur Sadar, 268 in Faridganj, 265 in Matlab South, 231 in Shahrasti, 201 in Hajiganj, 196 in Matlab North, 156 in Haimchar and 85 in Kachu.
The upazila-wise statistics of 78 deaths in the district are: 23 in Chandpur Sadar, 17 in Hajiganj, 11 in Faridganj, 10 in Matlab North, 7 in Shahrasti, 6 in Kachua, 3 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.
