Another died at Corona in Chandpur, identified 36.One person died of corona within a short time of coming to the corona isolation ward of Chandpur Sadar Hospital. Haji Mohammad Ali Akbar (65) of Daspara area of Puranbazar of the city came to the isolation ward of Chandpur Sadar Hospital on Friday evening with severe shortness of breath. He died shortly after.
On April 4, his sample test report came back positive. The death toll in the district has risen to 99.
Meanwhile, the corona of 36 more people was identified in Chandpur on Saturday. Among them 22 are from Chandpur Sadar Upazila, 2 from Matlab South, 1 from Kachua, 4 from Hajiganj, 3 from Faridganj, 1 from Haimchar and 3 from Shahrasti. On the same day, 22 people were declared healthy. Among them 13 are from Chandpur Sadar Upazila, 1 from Matlab South, 1 from Hajiganj, 3 from Faridganj and 4 from Matlab North.
The number of people infected with corona in the district has increased to 3561 with new cases. The death toll has risen to 99.

At present, the upazila-wise statistics of 3561 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 1639 in Chandpur Sadar, 376 in Faridganj, 345 in Matlab South, 326 in Hajiganj, 301 in Shahrasti, 255 in Matlab North, 195 in Haimchar and 124 in Kachua.
The upazila-wise statistics of 99 deaths in Corona district are as follows: 34 in Chandpur Sadar, 17 in Hajiganj, 15 in Faridganj, 11 in Matlab North, 9 in Shahrasti, 6 in Kachua, 5 in Matlab South and 2 in Haimchar.
