In Chandpur death toll rises to 78 due to corona.In Chandpur, on Wednesday, all the reports of 18 new sample tests came in negative corona. In other words, no new corona patient was identified on this day.
On the same day, 4 people were declared free and healthy from Corona. Among them 1 person from Chandpur Sadar, 1 person from Matlab South, 1 person from Hajiganj and 1 person from Shahrasti.
The number of corona victims in the district remains unchanged at 2344.
However, the death toll in the district has risen to six as an old woman died of corona at Chandpur Sadar Hospital on Tuesday. 2184 people have recovered. At present 82 people are undergoing treatment.
This information has been informed by the Civil Surgeon’s Office. According to sources, a total of 18 reports came from MA Wadud RT-PCR Lab of Chandpur-based on Wednesday, October 21. All report are corona negative.
At present, the upazila-wise statistics of 2344 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 943 in Chandpur Sadar, 268 in Faridganj, 265 in Matlab South, 231 in Shahrasti, 200 in Hajiganj, 196 in Matlab North, 156 in Haimchar and 85 in Kachu.
The upazila-wise statistics of 78 deaths in the district are: 23 in Chandpur Sadar, 17 in Hajiganj, 11 in Faridganj, 10 in Matlab North, 7 in Shahrasti, 6 in Kachua, 3 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.
