In Chandpur, corona detection increased to 2110.Corona of 6 more people has been identified in Chandpur. Among them 1 person from Chandpur Sadar, 2 people from Matlab North, 1 person from Haimchar, 1 person from Hajiganj and 1 person from Shahrasti.
On the same day, 10 people were declared healthy from Corona. Of these, 6 are from Faridganj, 2 from Matlab North and 2 from Matlab South.
With this, the number of people affected by corona in the district increased to 2110 people. The death toll is 76.
This information has been informed by the Civil Surgeon’s Office.
According to sources, a total of 73 reports came from MA Wadud RT-PCR lab of Chandpur-based Bahasabi on Thursday. 67 of these reports are not positive. The remaining 6 reports are negative.
The current upazila-wise statistics of 2110 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 843 in Chandpur Sadar, 243 in Faridganj, 226 in Matlab South, 204 in Shahrasti, 193 in Hajiganj, 182 in Matlab North, 139 in Haimchar and 80 in Kachu.
The upazila-wise statistics of 76 deaths in the district are as follows: 21 in Chandpur Sadar, 17 in Hajiganj, 11 in Faridganj, 10 in Matlab North, 7 in Shahrasti, 6 in Kachua, 3 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.
Dr. Civil Surgeon. Sakhawat Ullah added that the total number of samples collected till Thursday was 8689. There were 8621 reports. He added that out of 2110 affected people in the district, 1690 have already recovered. 344 people are under treatment.
So far, 826 patients have been admitted in isolation. Of these, 802 have already received clearance. At present the number of patients in isolation is 24. Besides, the total number of people in the home quarantine in the district is 11,701 people. Of these, 10,035 people got clearance. There are currently 1666 people in the home quarantine.
