Corona of 5 more people has been identified in Chandpur. On Sunday, (August 30) a total of 73 reports came from the Chandpur-based MA Wadud RT-PCR Lab. 5 of these reports are not positive. The remaining 68 reports are not negative.
Among them 3 are from Chandpur Sadar, 1 from Hajiganj and 1 from Shahrasti. The new victims in Sadar Upazila are Nazirpara women (45), Puranbazar area men (28) and Chandpur Power Distribution Board (PDB) men (55).
With this, the number of people affected by corona in the district increased to 2127 people. The death toll is 76.
This information has been informed by the Civil Surgeon’s Office.
The current upazila-wise statistics of 2127 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 852 in Chandpur Sadar, 244 in Faridganj, 226 in Matlab South, 205 in Shahrashti, 194 in Hajiganj, 187 in Matlab North, 139 in Haimchar and 80 in Kachu.
The upazila-wise statistics of 76 deaths in the district are as follows: 21 in Chandpur Sadar, 17 in Hajiganj, 11 in Faridganj, 10 in Matlab North, 7 in Shahrasti, 6 in Kachua, 3 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.
