In Chandpur, 3 people identified as corona infected in 24 hours.In Chandpur, out of 43 sample tests in 24 hours, 3 reports were positive. Among them 2 are from Chandpur Sadar and 1 from Haimchar. On the same day, 5 people were declared free and healthy from Corona. Of these, 3 are from Chandpur Sadar, 1 from Matlab South and 1 from Hajiganj.
With this, the number of people affected by corona in the district increased to 2320 people. The death toll is 77. 2137 people have recovered. At present 106 people are undergoing treatment.

According to sources, a total of 43 reports came from MA Wadud RT-PCR Lab in Chandpur on Friday, October 09. 3 of these reports are not positive. The remaining 40 reports are negative.
The current upazila-wise statistics of 2320 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 938 in Chandpur Sadar, 261 in Faridganj, 262 in Matlab South, 227 in Shahrasti, 199 in Hajiganj, 195 in Matlab North, 153 in Haimchar and 85 in Kachu.
The upazila-wise statistics of 77 deaths in the district are as follows: 22 in Chandpur Sadar, 17 in Hajiganj, 11 in Faridganj, 10 in Matlab North, 7 in Shahrasti, 6 in Kachua, 3 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.
