In Chandpur, 2 more people identified as corona infected.In Chandpur, 2 out of 7 samples were in corona positive.

Two of the seven sample tests in Chandpur on Saturday came as corona positive.

The new victims are from Chandpur Sadar and Faridganj.

On the same day, 7 people were declared healthy from Corona. Of these, 2 are from Chandpur Sadar, 2 from Matlab South, 2 from Shahrashti and 1 from Matbal North.

As a result, the number of people affected by corona in the district has increased to 2336. The total death toll is 77. 2184 people have recovered. At present 87 people are undergoing treatment.

This information has been informed by the Civil Surgeon’s Office. Sources said that on Saturday (October 18), a total of sevevn reports came from the Chandpur-based Bahasabir MA Wadud RT-PCR Lab. 2 of them are positive. The other 5 corona are negative.

The current upazila-wise statistics of 2338 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 943 in Chandpur Sadar, 268 in Faridganj, 265 in Matlab South, 229 in Shahrasti, 200 in Hajiganj, 195 in Matlab North, 153 in Haimchar and 85 in Kachu.

The upazila-wise statistics of 77 deaths in the district are as follows: 22 in Chandpur Sadar, 17 in Hajiganj, 11 in Faridganj, 10 in Matlab North, 7 in Shahrasti, 6 in Kachua, 3 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.
