Corona patients are on the rise in Chandpur

Corona patients are increasing in Chandpur, fear of beds in isolation wards. Even in the second wave of pandemic corona virus, the number of patients infected with corona is increasing day by day in Chandpur. Hundreds of samples are submitted to the hospital for testing every day and the number of patients infected with corona is being identified.

The bed crisis has occurred in the isolation ward of Chandpur Government General Hospital due to the increase in the number of patients suffering from corona.

According to hospital sources, the Chandpur Isolation Unit has 60 special beds for coronary and suspected patients. Due to the increase in the number of patients suffering from corona in the last few days, the prescribed 60 beds have been exceeded. Due to this, bed crisis has also occurred in isolation wards. Every day, patients with coronary heart disease and suspicious symptoms are admitted to the unit.

Another 36 new patients were admitted to the isolation ward on Thursday, July 08. At present a total of 44 patients are admitted in that ward. Of these, 25 are infected with corona and 19 are admitted with its symptoms.

Earlier, the total number of patients admitted in the isolation ward was 43. On that day, 28 patients took leave from the isolation ward with 1 death. Of the total 43 patients admitted that day, 23 were infected with corona and 20 were admitted with symptoms.

At present a total of 44 patients are admitted in that ward. The number of patients infected by corona is more.

According to hospital sources, the corona of 100 people has been identified in one day. M Wadud RT-PCR lab found 79 corona positive out of 188 samples and 21 corona positive out of 54 samples in rapid antigen test. The total number of samples was 242. Recently, a record number of corona patients have been identified in Chandpur in one day. The detection rate is 41.32%.

According to health experts, the effects of corona are spreading in Chandpur due to lack of public awareness. The number of patients with corona is increasing rapidly. Everyone needs to be careful to get rid of this horror. Government regulations must be obeyed. Everybody has to wear masks at railway stations, launch ghats, bus stands, hats and bazaars.

Resident Medical Officer (RMO) of Chandpur 250-bed General Hospital Dr Sujauddaula Rubel said the hospital has a total of 60 beds in isolation wards. At present there are 44 patients admitted. Of these, 25 are infected with corona and 19 are admitted with other symptoms.

In spite of all these patients, we have tried our best to serve the patients But if we are not aware, do not follow the lockdown strictly, do not follow the hygiene rules, do not wear a mask, then our condition will be more terrible.

“According to health experts, those with oxygen levels of 93 or above and not having too much breathing will stay at home in isolation at home and will contact those of us who are working as frontline fighters,” he said.
