PM mourns death of coronavirus in China.Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that Bangladesh is ready to provide any kind of assistance to the suffering of the affected people.

Assistant Press Secretary of Prime Minister ABM Sarwar-E-Alam said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed her condolences in a letter sent to Chinese President Xi Jinping.

In her letter, the Prime Minister said, ‘I firmly believe that under your able leadership, the Chinese government will be able to deal with the situation with the highest efficiency and control. Establishing a task force and setting up an emergency hospital to resolve the crisis is timely and commendable. The government of Bangladesh is ready to provide any kind of assistance to alleviate the suffering of the victims’.

The Prime Minister expressed condolences to the families of those who died and died of the virus.

She thanked Chinese leaders for protecting Bangladeshi nationals living in China at this critical moment of coronavirus outbreak.

Sheikh Hasina praised China because of the dynamic leadership of President Xi. China has become a global model of development.

“Their contribution to the international field, especially in the Asian region, is truly appreciated”, she added.

The Prime Minister reiterated her invitation to President Xi Jinping at the inauguration of ‘Mujib Year’ on March 17, the birth anniversary of the nation’s father Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

In China, at least 1,355 people have died and about 60,000 have been infected nationwide due to coronavirus infection. Hubei’s health commission says 14,840 people have been infected with the virus in the province.
