In Chandpur 7 people died with symptoms of corona within two days.In Chandpur, one person died of corona in two days and another 6 people died of corona symptoms (cold, cough, fever, sore throat).

The deceased was identified as Moslem Uddin Bepari(60). He contracted corona in Dhaka and moved to Faridkandi village in the northern Sultanabad union. He died Friday evening. Everyone else died with symptoms.

A woman named Chhakina Begum (80) died at Rose Garden Bhaban on Chandpur town on Thursday night with corona symptoms. The burial of the woman was completed in the presence of the Upazila Health Department and law enforcement agencies on Friday noon. However, his samples were not collected due to delay. Samples of others who came in contact with him have been collected.

Shahram Begum(45) wife of Muharram Khan, died of corona at Amjad Khan’s house on Bangabandhu Road in the city at 11:00 am on Friday. After collecting samples for his corona test in the afternoon, he was buried at the family cemetery.

Friday night at 10:30 pm in the 4-storey building adjacent to the city’s Truck Road Kazi office. Abul Khair Mizi (52) died of corona symptoms. He is the son of Md. Shahid Ullah Mizi of Maishadi village of Maishadi union of Sadar upazila. He had been suffering from corona symptoms, cold and cough for the last 4 days. After collecting samples from the Upazila Health Department at 9:00 am on Saturday (May 30), he was laid to rest at his home at 12:00 pm noon and was buried at the family graveyard.

Fayez Ullah(75) died at the Family Care Diagnostic Center in Chandpur around 3pm on Friday. He is a resident of Ward No. 8 of Dakshin Balia village in Chandra union of Chandpur Sadar upazila. He had been suffering from cold and cough for weeks.

Faridganj Upazila Awami League Information and Research Secretary and journalist Abul Hasnat Khan(55) died of corona at around 2:45 am on Friday. He died in the isolation ward of Chandpur Sadar Hospital. He was later buried at his home in Rajapur village at around 12:00 pm at noon.

Faziletunnesa(70) of Sarkari Bari in Palgiri village of Gohat North Union of Kachua Upazila died of corona at around 2:00 pm on Saturday. He died at around 2:00 pm on Saturday. Earlier, her son Manik Sarkar (50) and husband Bachchu Sarkar (80) also died of corona.

Civil Surgeon Dr. Md. Sakhawat Ullah said, we do not want any kind of death. It is very sad if a person has corona symptoms and stays at home without treatment. Because we don’t even get a chance to treat them. They are actually dying at the hospital at the last minute. Then there is nothing to do.
