Drug dealer arrested with foreign liquor in Matlab south. Solaiman Pradhan Liton, 45, a drug dealer, was arrested along with 24 bottles of beer cans in a raid at Matlab South upazila in Chandpur.
He is the son of the late Abul Kashem Majumdar of Shilasthan village in Bitara union of Kachua Upazila.
On the basis of confidential and reliable information, Second Officer (SI) of Matlab South Police Station Mohammad Habibur Rahman was arrested along with 41 bottles of foreign liquor (beer) from Narayanpur Sakinstha area of Khadergaon Upazila on Saturday morning.
Officer-in-charge of the police station Mohammad Mohiuddin Mia said a case has been filed against the arrested youth under the Matlab South Police Narcotics Control Act. Case No. 17, Tang – 18/09/2021, Section – 37 (1).
He was later sent to jail through a wise court.
