Writ petition has been filed in the High Court seeking directions to reopen the educational institution without any delay.
Gazipur Bhawal Mirzapur Public School and College Principal Abdul Qayyum Sarkar filed the writ petition (949/2021) on Thursday, january 21 on behalf of the petitioner.
In the writ petition, 6 people including the education secretary and the director general of the education department have been made defendants.
Confirming the writ petition, lawyer Farooq Alamgir Chowdhury told, ‘The writ petition will be heard by a High Court division bench comprising Justice Khasruzzaman and Justice Mahmud Hasan Talukder.’
