Education minister Dr. Dipu Moni said, ‘Government emphasizes on technical education’.
We have already spent three decades in government technical education. We could not exploit this opportunity due to various abuses including military rule. We have it in our hands for just over a decade.
The minister addressed these at a reception at a reception held on the morning of 8 February at Rupsa Bangabandhu Government College in Khulna.
The education minister added, ‘If we do not use it during this time, we will lose it forever.To exploit this opportunity, the government is increasing investment in education. Along with traditional education, the emphasis is on technical education. She has no choice but to meet the challenge of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and to implement the vision 2041’.
She added, ‘All the society needs to be vigilant to prevent our youth from the horrors of terrorism, militancy, sexual harassment, child marriage, dowry and drug abuse.” Besides, the youth should know about the life and sacrifice of Bangabandhu. The unprecedented progress being made in Bangladesh under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister should be conveyed to the people’.
