Death Toll In Corona In Bangladesh Has Exceeded Thousand

The death toll in Corona in Bangladesh has exceeded a thousand. In the last 24 hours, 37 more people have lost their lives due to the epidemic of coronavirus (Covid-19). The death toll in Corona rose to 1,012. At the same time, another 3,190 people have been identified as infected. As a result, the total number of victims in Corona stood at 74,865.

The additional director general of the department, Prof. Dr. Nasima Sultana was given this information in the regular health bulletin of department of the health on Wednesday afternoon, June 10.

She said another 16,994 samples were collected in the last 24 hours to detect coronavirus. 15 thousand and 965 samples were tested. A total of four lakh 41 thousand and 560 samples were tested in the country. Corona infection has been detected in 3,190 people in the new sample test, which is the highest detection record in a single day. As a result, the number of victims stood at 74,865. Another 37 people died among the victims. The total number of deaths was one thousand and 12 people. 563 people recovered in 24 hours. As a result, a total of 15,900 people returned home healthy.

Of those newly killed, 33 were men and four were women. 25 died at the hospital and 12 died at home. Of these, 25 died in Dhaka division, seven in Chittagong division, one in Rajshahi division, one in Sylhet division, two in Barisal division and one in Mymensingh division.

In terms of age, one person above 11 years of age, three persons above thirties, five persons above forties, 10 persons above fifties, 10 persons above sixties, seven persons above seventies and one persons above 80 years of age have died.
