BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir went to Singapore for treatment.
He flew to Singapore on a Bangladesh flight at 8.40 am on Saturday (January 30). The secretary general is accompanied by his wife Rahat Ara Begum.
Shairul Kabir Khan, a member of the media wing of the BNP chairperson, confirmed that the BNP secretary general had gone abroad.
In case of Covid-19, one have to stay in quarantine for 14 days in Singapore.
The last time Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir went to Singapore for treatment was on October 4 last year.
