Dhaka Divisional Commissioner Zainul Bari said all preparations for Ijtema would be completed by Sunday, January 5. He said this while interacting with the media on Saturday, December 28, during a visit to the Ijtema preparations.
The first phase of the 56th World Ijtema begins on Friday, January 10, on the Tongi Turag shore of Gazipur. Meanwhile, preparations are underway for the Ijtema. Most of the field work has already been completed on a voluntary basis. Electricity connection, road renovation and other works are underway in Maidan.
Dhaka Divisional Commissioner Zainul Bari visited the Ijtema field in the morning to see the preparations for Ijtema. Gazipur Deputy Commissioner SM Tariqul Islam, senior officials of various departments were also present there.
