Hajj will be celebrated in a limited way in 2020. Consisting of citizens of different countries residing in Saudi Arabia. Due to the global corona epidemic, no one from outside is allowed to come.
This year’s Hajj will be held with a limited number of people from different countries living in Saudi Arabia. Authorities have taken this decision because of the continuing risk of the coronavirus epidemic.
The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah confirmed the information in a statement on Monday, June 22.
The statement said that it has been decided to perform Hajj in a safe manner from the point of view of public health in line with the teachings of Islam while observing all preventive measures and necessary social distance protocols to protect people from this epidemic risk.
As such, Hajj is not being performed internationally. Hajj is allowed only for Saudi citizens and people from different countries residing inside Saudi Arabia, subject to various conditions.
