No one will remain homeless: PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has inaugurated a program to provide land and houses to landless and homeless families of the country. On Saturday, January 23, she handed over houses about 70,000 families in 492 upazilas of the country through video conferencing from Ganabhaban.
Dumuria Upazila of Khulna, Chapainawabganj Sadar, Syedpur of Nilphamari and Chunarughat Upazila of Habiganj were connected live at that time. Besides, all the upazilas of the country have joined the program online.
About 9 lakh people are being rehabilitated under Asrayan Project-2 on the occasion of Mujib Year. Besides 70,000 this month, 1 lakh more families will get houses next month.
