Decision on HSC exam today

Decision on HSC exam today. This year’s 12 lakh HSC candidates will be able to know the government’s decision about them on Wednesday. Due to coronavirus, this year’s HSC and equivalent examinations were supposed to start on April 01, but it has been postponed. According to the Inter-Education Board Coordination Sub-Committee, discussions are underway among policy makers on whether the exam can be taken in the second week of November. However, no date was finalized till Tuesday.

Last September 30, the Minister of Education Dipu Moni said that the exact date of this year’s HSC and equivalent examinations will be announced between October 05 or 06. However, the ministry could not finish their work till Tuesday.

Dr. Dipu Moni said students will be given four weeks to complete the preparation for the exam. But there will be options. Those who cannot take part in the test for any logical reason will also have a plan on how to evaluate them in an alternative way. The minimum number of subjects that can be tested in a short time is being considered. And so that no examinee is harmed has also been taken into consideration.

Apart from the examinees, guardians, hall inspectors, law enforcement agencies, a total of 25 to 30 lakh people are involved in the examination. Most of whom will use public transport. This issue is also under the consideration of the government.
