In Chandpur, 42 out of 88 samples was identified as infected.At Chandpur Corona Lab, corona of 42 out of 6 samples was identified. The detection rate increased to 47.7%. The information was given by the Civil Surgeon’s Office on Tuesday, June 29.
Among the identified corona are 24 in Chandpur Sadar, 10 in Hajiganj, 3 in Faridganj, 3 in Haimchar and 2 in Kachua Upazila. Corona of 5406 people has been identified in Chandpur district including the newly infected. To date, 4,791 people have recovered. And 447 people are under treatment.
Among the 126 people killed in the district – 48 in Chandpur Sadar, 21 in Faridganj, 21 in Hajiganj, 9 in Shahrasti, 7 in Kachua, 11 in Matlab North, 6 in Matlab South and 3 in Haimchar.
