139 more people identified as infected in Chandpur. Out of 299 samples in Chandpur, 139 corona patients were identified. The detection rate is 46.49%. Sources in the Chandpur Civil Surgeon’s Office said on Wednesday.
According to sources, the victims include 59 from Chandpur Sadar Upazila, 21 from Matlab South, 2 from Matlab North, 21 from Hajiganj, 5 from Faridganj, 5 from Haimchar, 20 from Shahrashti and 6 from Kachua.
On the same day, 43 people were declared healthy. Of these, 27 are from Chandpur Sadar, 3 from Faridganj, 6 from Hajiganj, 3 from Haimchar, 1 from Matlab Uttar and 2 from Kachua.
According to the source, the number of people infected by Corona has increased to 6694 in the district including the new victims. The death toll has risen to 138. So far 5271 people have been declared healthy. At present 1285 people are undergoing treatment. Among the injured, 46 are undergoing treatment in the isolation ward of the hospital. The rest are in home isolation.
