This information has been given by the Civil Surgeon’s Office on Monday 15 June. According to sources, among the new victims, 5 are in Chandpur Sadar, 8 in Haimchar, 9 in Hajiganj, 15 in Shahrashti, 5 in Faridganj, 4 in Matlab South and 6 in Matlab North.
Chandpur Civil Surgeon Sakhawat Ullah said 91 reports were received on Monday. Of these, 52 reports are not positive. Among the new victims are 4 dead. Among them 3 are from Hajiganj and 1 from Matlab North. The name of the dead child of Matlab North is Zaman (12). The deceased have been identified as AH Momin (58), AH Latif (75) and Abul Basar (65).
The current upazila-wise statistics of 464 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 162 in Chandpur Sadar, 50 in Faridganj, 58 in Hajiganj, 62 in Shahrashti, 42 in Matlab South, 28 in Kachua, 32 in Haimchar and 25 in Matlab North.
Besides, the upazila-wise statistics of 38 deaths in the district are: 11 in Chandpur Sadar, 12 in Hajiganj, 4 in Kachua, 4 in Faridganj, 3 in Shahrasti, 3 in Matlab North and 1 in Matlab South.
