In Chandpur, the infected of corona increased to 2130.Corona of 3 more people has been identified in Chandpur today. They are all from Chandpur Sadar. On the same day, 12 more people were declared free and healthy from Corona. Of these, 4 are from Chandpur Sadar, 6 from Faridganj and 2 from Matlab North.
With this, the number of people affected by corona in the district increased to 2130 people. The death toll is 76. This information has been informed by the Civil Surgeon’s Office.
According to sources, a total of 52 reports came from Chandpur-based MA Wadud RT-PCR Lab today. 3 of these reports are not positive. The remaining 49 reports are not negative.
The current upazila-wise statistics of 2130 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 855 in Chandpur Sadar, 244 in Faridganj, 226 in Matlab South, 205 in Shahrasti, 194 in Hajiganj, 187 in Matlab North, 139 in Haimchar and 80 in Kachu.
The upazila-wise statistics of 76 deaths in the district are: 21 in Chandpur Sadar, 17 in Hajiganj, 11 in Faridganj, 10 in Matlab North, 7 in Shahrasti, 6 in Kachua, 3 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.
Dr. Civil Surgeon Sakhawat Ullah added that the total number of samples collected till Monday was 8956. There are 8859 reports. He added that out of 2130 affected people in the district, 1741 have already recovered. 313 people are under treatment.
So far, the number of patients admitted in isolation is 856. Of these, 637 have already received clearance. At present the number of patients in isolation is 19. Besides, the total number of people in the home quarantine in the district is 11,781.
Of these 10,239 people got clearance. At present there are 1542 people in the home quarantine.
