In West Bengal 54 People Died In Coronavirus Last 24 Hours

In West Bengal, India, coronavirus has killed 54 more people in 24 hours. The total death toll in the state stood at two thousand and two. Besides, 2,931 more people have been identified as infected in 24 hours. As a result, the total number of infections is one lakh and four thousand 326 people.

Despite the increase in the number of victims in the state, the recovery rate is providing relief. According to a bulletin issued by the state health department on Wednesday, the recovery rate from corona in West Bengal is 72.96 percent.

According to the state government, out of a total of one lakh and four thousand 326 infected people, 76,120 corona patients have recovered so far. Two thousand and 725 people have been discharged from the hospital after recovering in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, Kolkata has the highest number of deaths in Corona in West Bengal. 999 people have lost their lives in Kolkata so far. In the last 24 hours, 19 people have died in this city. Then there is North 24 Parganas. In this district, 512 corona patients have died, out of which 13 have died in the last 24 hours.

In the last 24 hours, three people have died in Howrah, East Midnapore, Nadia and Jalpaiguri. Two died each in Jhargram, West Burdwan and South 24 Parganas. One person died in Alipurduar, Darjeeling, Purulia.

In the last 24 hours, Kolkata has the highest number of infected people. 619 people were newly infected on this day. 580 people returned home healthy. In North 24 Parganas, 589 people were newly infected with Corona. In South 24 Pargana, Howrah and Hooghly, 255, 272 and 113 people were newly infected on the day.
