62 more people have been identified as infected newly in Chandpur. Chandpur Civil Surgeon’s Office sources said this on Monday.
Among those identified: 28 from Chandpur Sadar Upazila, 19 from Faridganj, 3 from Hajiganj, 3 from Kachua, 1 from Shahrasti, 2 from Haimchar, 4 from Matlab North, and 2 from Matlab South.
On the same day, 15 people were declared healthy. On this day, a total of 260 samples were tested. According to the sample test, the detection rate is 23.84%.
At present, the number of people infected by Corona in the district rose to 16,547. The death toll was 243.
So far 15,225 people have been declared healthy. At present, the number of patients undergoing treatment is 1079. Of the victims, 13 are in isolation wards of hospitals and the rest are in home isolation.
